of Last Minute Fun… ExtravaganzAHHHH!


STM Youth Group Families at the Durham Bulls Ball Park!  Celebrate baseball, summer, family and the STM youth group by attending our STM family night at the Durham Bulls Ball Park. The Bulls will be playing the Charlotte Knights on August 10th!  STM families and their teens are invited to meet at the main gate to pick up their tickets. Tickets are $8 a person and we will be sitting together in section 204. Show your STM youth ministry spirit by wearing a STM t-shirt if you have one!  Please reserve your family’s spot by calling Georgie Clemens at 942-6240 and leaving the number of tickets needed.  

Emerald Point Waterpark!  All TYM youth (teens in grades 9 and up) are invited to celebrate the close of summer at Emerald Point on Tuesday, August 17.  We will be leaving from the Youth House at 8:30am and returning by 8:00pm that evening.  The cost of the day is $30 per youth, but chaperones and adult drivers attend for FREE!!  Be sure to bring sunblock, money for lunch and dinner as well as your towel and change for lockers!  Don’t miss this great opportunity for fun, fellowship and friends! High School Youth Council Retreat!  All members of the TYM youth council will travel to Hamlet, NC where they will stay in the rustic Big Pine Retreat and enjoy all that the retreat center has to offer!  The dates of the retreat are August 20, 21, and 22nd.  Our Youth Council will participate in high and low rope challenges, learn teamwork and leadership skills, plan for the upcoming youth group year, engage in faith sharing and most of all, strengthen their relationship with the  God that makes all of this possible!  The Theme of this year’s retreat is LOL!  Lead Out Loud!
