Dead Sea Scrolls Exhibit
The Dead Sea Scrolls, one of history’s greatest archaeological discoveries, will be on exhibit at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences in Downtown Raleigh, NC, from June 28–December 28, 2008. These scrolls are fragments of ancient manuscripts discovered in 11 caves between 1947 and 1956 in the Dead Sea region of what is now Israel. Some of these fragments are from the books of the Hebrew Bible, or Old Testament. Others are sectarian scrolls, giving us insight into the life of the Qumran community, around the time of Jesus. For more information, tickets, group sales, and exhibit hours, see http://www.naturalsciences.org/wnew/2008-02-19_deadseascrolls.html

Attention Married Couples
In the work force, most of us received training in our line of work and don't think twice about attending on-going education to assist us in our profession. The courses we take are designed to keep our skills fresh and make us the best we can be. However, in our most important vocation, the vocation of marriage, most of us received little or no training at all. After the wedding, there is little to offer but there is something out there! Attend a Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend and give your marriage a little extra boost. A Worldwide Marriage Encounter weekend is designed for couples to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life in order to focus solely on their relationship and each other (All sharing is done within the privacy of the couple's room). Come get away from it all and make your marriage even better than it is today! For more information, please visit our website www.wwme-nc.info or call Joe and Linda Costine at 919-553-8693.
