Mission Statement/Purpose
The mission of the STM Building & Grounds Ministry is to provide technical support to assure that the current and future facilities needs for the parish and school are met. This mission is fundamentally one of planning for and overseeing construction of new buildings, and maintaining current buildings and grounds.

Major Accomplishments
Semiannual Parish Pride Day (spring and fall), summer projects (Youth House renovation, Mary Chapel renovation, Universal access improvements to church and school, convent repairs and renovations, facilities renovations in lower school), parking project, Capital Reserves study for church and school, and participation/input/recommendations to New Building Project committee.

Major Activity
Parish Pride day (Spring and Fall), Summer projects (according to input from community and prioritization from committee) and active involvement with New Building Project committee and activities.

Meeting Frequency
Second Monday of every month, 5:30 to 7:15 p.m.

Meeting Venue
Santa Cruz room in the Parish Office

Estimated Time Commitment for Volunteers
One, 2-hour meeting per month plus additional activities/projects as volunteered.

Special Skills
None in particular; mostly a desire to serve and contribute in this area. Could use experience in landscaping, construction, engineering, maintenance, planning, environmental science
