Christopher Read Smith was born in Princeton, NJ, but has called the triangle home since 1983. While not raised in any particular faith, Chris has spent some time in the Unitarian tradition. When Chris married and his wife Alicja became pregnant with their daughter, he became keenly aware that "something" was missing from his life. Wanting his children to know God from an early age and supported by his wife, a lifelong Catholic, Chris began inquiring into the Catholic faith a year ago, entering the RCIA last August. Chris is grateful to everyone involved with the inquiry process, the RCIA, as well as Jim Hynes, Phil Taylor, and Chad McCall, who have all provided their faith, guidance and support.
