Katie Kaman Newly Received Catholic

My name is Katie Kaman and I am a student at NC State studying speech pathology. I have a huge heart for kids and want to work in a school system (preferably Catholic!) to help those with speech problems. It has been a huge blessing coming into the Catholic Church and going through the whole RCIA process with my fiancée Jason. I have been a Christian for three years and was heavily involved with the protestant culture but I have always been uncertain about the different theologies and saying the right/wrong thing. I am ready to fully lean on the true teachings of the Church and to build my spiritual foundation on the same Rock that Jesus built his Church on years ago. I thank you for your kind comments and actions in welcoming me into the Church. It has been a long journey to the truth and I’m ready for the Eucharist! See you at the Easter vigil!
