The Dearly Departed
“Into your hands, Father of mercies, we commend our brothers and sisters in the sure and certain hope that, together with all who have died in Christ, they will rise with him on the last day” (Order of Christian Funerals 175). We remember especially the following daughters and sons of Christ who have died recently:

The Sick
Let us appeal to God for our brothers and sisters: Come and strengthen them, free them from all harm, sin, and temptation, and relieve the sufferings of all the sick (Pastoral Care of the Sick 121).
