Mission Statement/Purpose
To encourage parishioners to get to know each other and to create a sense of community and sharing at St. Thomas More.

Major Accomplishments
The ministry has been active at St. Thomas More for over 10 years and has included nearly 200 parishioners.

Major Activity
Participants host dinners on a monthly basis, generally from October through May each year. Each person/couple takes turns hosting the dinner at their home. Most groups are for adults, but if there is interest, groups that include their families can be created (generally for lunch or brunch instead of dinner). We often plan an end-of-season reception in May or June for all Dinner Club participants.

Meeting Frequency
Monthly from October through May each year. Day and time of dinners is completely determined by each individual group.

Meeting Venue
Participant homes

Estimated Time Commitment for Volunteers
One dinner each month. Optional participation in an end-of-season get together.

Special Skills
Must like people and food!
