The Catholic Community of St. Thomas More: Faith Formation

Faith Development provides educational, spiritual and catechetical programs for children, youth, young adults and adults. Our goal is to provide all ages with opportunities for knowledge of Christian living, the Catholic faith and sacramental preparation. We seek to form a parish that is vitally alive in faith and which exemplifies the love of God, and to form faithful members who actively cultivate a lively Baptismal and Eucharistic spirituality with a powerful sense of mission and apostolate.

The program serves children and youth in Grades Pre-K to 12. Elementary Faith Development (Pre-K to 5^th) hosts two sessions on Sunday morning; Junior High Youth Ministry (JYM; 6^th to 8^th) and High School Youth Ministry (TYM; 9^th to 12^th) meet on Wednesday and Sunday evenings. As well as providing catechesis and social/service opportunities, Faith Development includes sacramental preparation for First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation, as well as preparation for Christian Initiation for children of seven years or older.
