Mission Statement/Purpose
Migrant Worker Outreach collects and packages donations from St. Thomas More parishioners. Donated goods and funds are delivered to Catholic Relief Services.

Major Accomplishments
Each summer, 200-300 health kits are delivered for migrant workers in NC fields.

Major Activity
This is a summer-only service project.

Meeting Frequency
Twice monthly in June and July

Meeting Venue
Meetings are conducted in the home of one of the outreach volunteers.

Estimated Time Commitment for Volunteers
Two 2-hour meetings are held in June and July.  Additional time is needed to collect donations from the church and for shopping for supplies.

Special Skills
No special skills are needed, but volunteers must be energetic. PLEASE NOTE: No additional volunteers are needed for the summer of 2008.
