Mollie Berry has been involved in Faith Development since 1987. She was the former Director of Religious Education at St. Mark in Wilmington and the former Director of Elementary Faith Development at St. Michael in Cary. During her last move to the Charlotte area, Mollie held the position of Confirmation Coordinator for St. Mark in Huntersville. Mollie holds a Bachelor degree in English and Secondary Education from BelhavenCollege in Jackson, MS, and a Master of Religious Education from LoyolaUniversity in New Orleans through the LIMEX initiative of the Diocese of Raleigh. Mollie is a Master Catechist with the Diocese of Raleigh and is also completing training for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, a Montessori-based alternative form of religious education. She has been married to her husband Peter for 34 years, is the mother of a 26-year-old married daughter Rachel and a 20-year-old son Alex, who is a student at WesternCarolinaUniversity. Born in Mississippi, she has been in North Carolina since 1982 and now considers herself a true Tarheel!
