Jim Hynes has been Director of Elementary Faith Development at St. Thomas More since 1999 and also Director of Adult Faith Formation since 2004. He was born in Hull, England, and grew up in Liverpool, Canada and Wales. He studied Chemistry and Philosophy of Science at King's College, London, and later obtained a Bachelor of Divinity from Heythrop College, London, a Jesuit school. After working in London for 12 years he returned to studies at St. Mary's University College, Twickenham, England, graduating in 1998 with a Masters in Religion and Education, before moving to Chapel Hill.
