The Catholic Community of St. Thomas More: Staff: Staff

Digna Turrpa has been chef extraordinaire and housekeeper at the Rectory since 1993. She actually began working at St. Thomas More in 1990 as the parish's first Sacristan. Digna was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in Manhatten. She and her family moved to Chapel Hill in 1988. She is the mother of four and grandmother of eight. At the Rectory, Digna does "what a stay-at-home mom does and then some!" She especially enjoys her job because she meets so many different and interesting people. In her free time, Digna likes doing embroidery and listening to classical music.
