We have missed you!

St. Thomas More Parish enthusiastically participates in "Landings," a Paulist ministry that welcomes returning Catholics. Landings provides a safe harbor—a landing place—to help as you explore your faith and your future with the Church.

Inactive Catholics participate in a supportive small group community with six-to-eight active Catholics who are trying to live their own faith. Together, they ask questions, discuss issues and deal with difficulties. And they are invited to come to terms with recent changes in the Church and in themselves.

The Landings group consists of eight to ten people: two or three returning Catholics and six or seven active Catholics. The group meets eight to ten times (once per week). Contact Ken Reeb (918-3536) for further information. Please pray for the success of the Landings program, we need your prayers.

You are warmly invited to take a new look at the Church. Please consider this invitation to come and talk with us.

For Active Catholics there are two things you can do:

  1. Invite a friend who is an inactive Catholic to consider joining the Landings program;
  2. Join the Landings program yourself as a welcoming member.

A Landings Prayer:

Lord, let me welcome all my sisters and brothers with the arms of Christ. May I listen to their stories with the openness of Christ, and may I embrace them with the love of Christ. Through my hospitality, may they once more call our Church their home. Amen.
