Purpose
Established in support of our St. Thomas More School Scholarship Fund. A fun, interactive, informal, organized tasting each month of 6 different wines for folks who are knowledgeable or novices wanting to know and learn more. The Wine Cellar will donate 50% of the tasting fee and in addition, 10% of any orders placed at the tasting to the Scholarship Fund.

Major Accomplishments
We have conducted several tastings for the Knights of Columbus, the St Thomas More School Book Fair and the Chocolate Auction -- all in support of their respective fundraising by donating a percentage of receipts.

Major Activity
On a monthly basis, The Wine Cellar will donate 50% of the tasting fee and in addition, 10% of any orders placed at the tasting to the St. Thomas More School Scholarship Fund. Plans to hold some wine dinners as well as a once a year Wine Expo. In each case donating to the Scholarship Fund.

Meeting Frequency
Once a month on a regular day to be determined.

The Friends and Family Hall

Estimated Time Commitment for Volunteers
One 2-2½ hour gathering per month and one major, 4-6 hr event per year. Other events like wine dinners or special tastings to be determined.

Special Skills
Must be at least 21 years of age. No skills needed, just a desire to taste and learn more about wine from around the world and to meet like-minded people and support our parish community.
